Weighted, not simply averaged
Adding prices and dividing by the row count ignores how much SOL each row acquired. This model divides total entered asset spend or cash outlay by total acquired units.
Calculate how much SOL an entered dollar-cost-averaging schedule acquires, then compare asset-only weighted average price with all-in average cost per SOL.
SOL spend = contribution, or contribution − entered cost when costs are inside the budget
SOL acquired = SOL spend ÷ entered price per SOL
Total cash outlay = contribution + entered cost when costs are added
Asset-only average = total SOL spend ÷ total SOL acquired
All-in average cost = total cash outlay ÷ total SOL acquired
Use one row per contribution. Equal cash amounts represent the standard DCA pattern; different amounts remain visible as a variable-cash schedule.

On a small screen, swipe the table sideways to review every column.
It answers: “Under these entered contribution amounts, SOL prices and costs, how much SOL is acquired and what are the resulting weighted and all-in average costs?” Equal cash contributions are labelled an equal-cash schedule. Different amounts still calculate, but the result is labelled variable-cash instead of being silently presented as standard DCA.
The arithmetic treats SOL as the acquired asset unit. A row’s cash available for SOL is divided by its entered price per SOL. The page does not infer token decimals, wallet custody, network rewards, on-chain fees, exchange spread or whether a displayed SOL symbol represents spot ownership or a derivative.
Adding prices and dividing by the row count ignores how much SOL each row acquired. This model divides total entered asset spend or cash outlay by total acquired units.
Trading fees or other entered costs add cash outlay without adding SOL. Asset-only and all-in averages therefore answer different questions.
Every purchase and current price is typed by the user. The tool does not silently mix delayed prices with historical rows or present a stale quote as current.
The all-in average is total entered cash outlay divided by acquired SOL. It can exceed the asset-only average because fees add cash without adding SOL. A weighted average below the simple mean of entered prices is a mechanical result of buying more SOL at lower entered prices; it is not evidence that DCA will outperform another purchase plan.

Investor.gov defines it as investing equal portions at regular intervals regardless of market movements. This page checks equal amounts but not dates or regularity.
Divide each cash amount available for SOL by its entered price, add acquired SOL, then divide total SOL spend by total acquired SOL.
It is total entered cash outlay divided by total acquired SOL. Added trading costs can make it higher than the asset-only weighted average.
The entered cost reduces cash available to buy SOL, so acquired SOL is lower while the contribution remains the total row outlay.
Equal cash buys more SOL at lower prices and less at higher prices, while a simple mean gives every entered price equal weight.
No. The result depends on the entered price path and costs. DCA does not remove volatility or guarantee performance.
No. Every price is entered manually, including the optional current-price scenario.
No. This route converts cash contributions into acquired SOL. Leveraged position entries, stop risk, margin, funding and liquidation are separate.
