The most useful preparation is consistency: the same legal name, current address and date of birth across the profile and documents. A sharper photograph will not fix a name mismatch, and a bank receipt will not necessarily prove where you live.
Follow the verification sequence

The broker’s verification instructions describe email confirmation, personal information and a profile questionnaire, followed by identity and residence review. The questionnaire should reflect your circumstances and experience. Choosing answers merely to get past a screen can leave the account based on inaccurate information.
In the Personal Area, open the verification request, use the document category offered for your country and submit through that secure channel. The general help page lists colour files up to 10 MB, with no more than two files at a time. It describes manual review operating around the clock and taking up to one working day. That is an estimate, not a guaranteed approval time. Current on-screen requirements take priority if the upload interface differs.
Identity and address prove different things
| Check | What the evidence needs to show | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Matching full name, photograph, birth date, validity and signature where applicable | Expired ID or a document with a different registered name |
| Residence | Your name and current residential address on an accepted recent document | A payment receipt or another person’s household bill |
| Image quality | Complete, readable colour document with all corners visible | Glare, cropped edges or hidden information |
Identity guidance requires at least 30 days of remaining validity when the document is submitted. Passport, national ID, driving licence and residence permit are examples, subject to the accepted list. Residence guidance calls for documents no older than six months; eligible bank statements, utility bills and certain official documents are examples.
Do not assume a screenshot of a banking app is equivalent to a complete bank statement. Download the genuine statement when that is the required document. Keep the original layout and all required details; do not alter a name, address, date or balance to make the file fit.
Resolve the reason actually given
Open the rejected request and read the reviewer’s comment before replacing files. Use this short diagnosis:
- Unreadable or cropped: take a new, evenly lit colour image on a plain surface, with the whole document visible.
- Wrong name or address: correct genuine profile errors through the approved process or supply the correct document. Do not edit the document.
- Out of date: obtain a current statement or an ID with sufficient validity.
- Wrong document type: choose an accepted category and provide evidence that actually matches it.
- Extra ownership check: follow the specific secure request. A selfie should not be treated as a universal first-upload requirement when it has not been requested.
Once the issue is corrected, keep the new submission reference. Repeatedly uploading the same rejected image makes the history longer without resolving the reason.
Verification, access and payments
Problems receiving an email code belong to the login and access workflow; they are different from a document waiting for human review. If you have not yet created a Personal Area, start with the registration guide.
Some help pages discuss limited services before full verification. That is not a good reason to fund an unfinished account. Available payment methods and checks can differ. Complete the requested checks, then review deposit requirements and withdrawal source-of-funds rules before moving money.
A useful support request
Give official support the submission reference, date, document category and exact rejection message. Ask which requirement remains unmet. Include a redacted error screenshot if useful, while sending original ID files only through the confirmed secure verification channel.
Never send passwords, one-time codes or recovery codes with a document query. The support and complaint guide explains how to reach the company and keep a clear record when a request remains unresolved.
Frequently asked questions
Which documents does JustMarkets accept?
The secure upload selector determines the accepted documents for your circumstances. General help lists identity documents such as passports or ID cards, and recent address evidence such as eligible statements or utility bills.
Why was a document rejected?
Read the comment attached to the request. Common causes include missing details, poor image quality, an expired document, a name mismatch or a document category that is not accepted.
Can a screenshot prove my address?
Not automatically. Use the complete, genuine document type requested by the verification screen. A cropped banking-app screenshot may omit your name, address, date or issuer.
What should I send support?
Send the reference, submission date and exact review message through official support. Provide sensitive identity files only through the confirmed secure channel, and never include passwords or one-time codes.
