“JustMarkets is regulated” is an incomplete answer to an account-opening question. The useful questions are which company signs your agreement, whether it accepts your residence and citizenship, and which permissions and protections apply to that company. A translated page, a local phone number or a currency in a payment menu answers none of those questions on its own.
Check residence and citizenship first
The current Global regulations page excludes residents and citizens of Australia, Canada, Japan, India, the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as sanctioned jurisdictions. The wording is non-exhaustive. A country missing from this list is not automatically accepted, and a citizenship restriction can matter even when you live elsewhere.
Use accurate personal information. If the current signup flow does not offer your country, stop and clarify the position through official support. Do not select a different residence to reveal an offer or payment method. Our registration guide explains the information you need before creating an account.

Read the company name, not only the brand
| Company | Jurisdiction | Disclosed reference |
|---|---|---|
| Just Global Markets Ltd | Seychelles | FSA SD088 |
| JustMarkets Ltd | Cyprus | CySEC 401/21 |
| Just Global Markets (PTY) Ltd | South Africa | FSCA FSP51114 |
| Just Global Markets (MU) Limited | Mauritius | FSC GB22200881 |
| Just Global Markets (VG) Limited | British Virgin Islands | FSC SIBA/L/24/1177 |
These are the group’s disclosed company references. The Seychelles regulator entry corroborates that company and its JustMarkets trade name; the CySEC register identifies the Cyprus company and justmarkets.eu. Use the register corresponding to the company in your own agreement. The payment-processing merchant is not an additional trading licence.
Make a five-part eligibility record
- Write down your actual residence and relevant citizenship. Read both the current restrictions and the form’s eligibility notice.
- Identify the full company name and registration/licence details in the agreement offered to you. A website footer describing the whole group is not enough.
- Open the relevant regulator’s register independently. Compare legal name, status, approved domain and permitted activity where available.
- Check local authorization separately. A foreign licence does not automatically establish permission to market the same service in your country.
- Save the current account terms, costs, withdrawal rules and complaint route before funding. Ask official support to clarify any mismatch in writing.
If a local promoter says “fully regulated,” ask which company and which local permission support that statement. A useful answer can be checked against a named record. An image of a licence logo without an identifiable company does not resolve the question.
Do not transfer one entity’s trading terms to another
The EU guide covers a distinct Cyprus offering. It has different account choices and retail conditions from the Global pages. European residence also does not mean every EU country is accepted: the EU website has its own exclusions, which must be checked directly.
For regional verification, the Malaysia guide focuses on the Securities Commission’s authorization checker and the limits of alert-list searches. The Indonesia guide distinguishes historical Bappebti notices from the newer division of responsibilities between regulators. Neither page treats local-language marketing as proof that an account is authorized or available.
Resolve conflicting information before depositing
Broker documentation can be updated at different times. A current account table may differ from an old article or localized landing page. Record the two URLs and ask which version governs the particular account you are being offered. Do not combine the smallest minimum from one entity with the highest leverage or promotion from another.
Our broker review and account comparison provide the broader decision context. Once the company and eligibility are clear, check the actual payment screen and refund requirements. The fact that a bank can send money internationally does not establish that the receiving trading service is appropriate or locally authorized.
If the broker cannot explain the contracting entity, current terms or complaint route clearly enough for you to verify, pause the account-opening decision. Use our support guide to formulate the questions. There is no need to fund an account merely to discover which company it belongs to.
Frequently asked questions
Does JustMarkets accept every country not listed as restricted?
No. The published exclusion list is non-exhaustive. Confirm current eligibility for your residence, citizenship and the company offering the account.
Can citizenship matter if I live elsewhere?
Yes. The current Global restriction wording covers residents and citizens, so a residence-only check is incomplete.
Does a group licence protect every JustMarkets account in the same way?
No. Start with the legal entity on your agreement and verify its permissions and applicable protections. Do not combine licences from different group companies.
Does a translated site prove local authorization?
No. Language availability is a website feature. Verify the exact company and service through the relevant local authority.
Can I select another country to complete registration?
Use your actual details. If your country is unavailable or the terms are unclear, ask official support before proceeding rather than selecting an inaccurate residence.
