FXOpen Withdrawals: Methods, Fees, Timing and Return Rules

Request an FXOpen withdrawal through the verified account, using a permitted method and correctly owned destination. Check available funds, fees and security confirmation first. Broker processing and arrival at your bank are separate stages, and return-to-source rules depend on the entity and payment method.

Troubleshoot a withdrawal
FXOpen Withdrawals guide cover

Withdrawal planning starts before the first deposit. An available funding method does not establish that profits can be sent anywhere later. Review the deposit method you used and the contract for the entity holding the account. If a request is already stuck, the withdrawal-problem guide focuses on diagnosis.

Check these details before requesting funds

  • The overall Main account is verified and no document request is outstanding.
  • The destination belongs to you and its name, account details and currency are correct.
  • The method is actually available in your current account.
  • The amount covers applicable charges and fits the method’s limits.
  • Open positions, pending activity and margin commitments leave sufficient funds available.
  • You can complete the enabled security confirmation.

Read the verification guide if the account is still awaiting approval. A large displayed balance is not necessarily a withdrawable balance when positions are open. The margin and leverage guide explains that distinction.

Make and track the request

  1. Enter the withdrawal area from your own portal. Select the source account and the method offered to it. Do not substitute payment details supplied by an unofficial helper.
  2. Check the beneficiary and currency. Read the destination carefully, including any bank identifiers required for that method. A correct amount sent to a wrong account remains a serious problem.
  3. Review the total charges. Check the net amount and conversion quote before accepting. Broker, intermediary-bank and receiving-provider charges are separate possibilities.
  4. Complete the prompted confirmation. FXOpen documents PIN/security-code steps for some flows. Use the current authenticated process and never send the code to a person in chat.
  5. Save the request reference and status. Keep the submission time, amount, method and quoted processing guidance together.
  6. Reconcile the receiving side. A broker status indicating that funds were sent is not the same as the money appearing in your bank or wallet.

The security-confirmation guide describes supported code methods. If access to the registered email or authentication device is lost, resolve it through the account-recovery route rather than repeatedly submitting withdrawals.

Return rules need the actual entity and method

For FXOpen Markets, clause 10.8 of the Main Account Terms distinguishes card returns from withdrawing profits elsewhere. It states that returning card deposits and profits to the card has no time limitation, but profits sent through another method can be subject to 30 days from the most recent card deposit. Multiple-card cases are discretionary. This is not a blanket 30-day freeze on every card refund.

For the named UK/EU Instant Bank Payment method, the withdrawal instructions require the bank account used for depositing. Do not export that method-specific rule to every international payment option, or assume an unavailable card route is currently supported because a contract describes it.

If a bank account or card has changed, explain the change and ask which replacement evidence and route the entity accepts. Confirm that before requesting the payment.

Read timing as stages, not a guarantee

The current FXOpen Markets funding page publishes a 12:00 GMT cutoff for same-business-day processing, with later requests moving to the next business day and exceptions possible. This is the broker’s processing guidance, not a promised bank-credit time.

The specific UK/EU bank-transfer guide describes normal processing within one business day. A broader support FAQ gives different wire and electronic timing statements. Because those pages are not fully aligned, ask for the expectation for your method and distinguish the review, sending and receiving stages. We have not carried out a test withdrawal.

Check the amount that should arrive

Use the current Markets, UK or EU payment-fee table as the relevant starting point and verify the account’s quote. A zero broker charge does not prove a zero total cost.

For an illustrative withdrawal of USD500 with USD15 deducted in charges, USD485 remains before any further conversion or receiving-bank fee. This is arithmetic, not an FXOpen fee quote. Compare currencies with the currency converter, then use the actual offered rate for the final amount.

If a request is still pending, consult the current cancellation option before resubmitting. Keep one clear transaction trail and escalate an unexplained outcome through the entity-specific support route.

Frequently asked questions

Does “Succeeded” mean the payment is in my bank?

The support FAQ uses it to mean the broker has checked and sent the funds. The receiving bank or provider may not yet have credited them.

Are all FXOpen card withdrawals held for 30 days?

No. The reviewed Markets clause distinguishes returns to the card from profits sent by another method. The latter can face a 30-day condition after the last card deposit; check the actual applicable route.

Can I withdraw while trades are open?

Available funds and margin commitments still matter. Do not treat the account balance alone as proof that the requested amount can be removed safely or accepted.

Can I cancel a withdrawal?

The provider documents cancellation for requests that are still pending. Check the current status and controls; a payment already sent may require a different process.
