How Bulls Power is calculated
EMA[i] = close[i] × 2 ÷ (N + 1) + EMA[i − 1] × [1 − 2 ÷ (N + 1)]
Bulls Power[i] = high[i] − EMA[i]
Version 1.0.0 follows the published MetaQuotes first-close EMA seed and smoothing factor. The EMA is based on entered close prices, while the current high supplies the reported difference.
The first reportable value begins at zero-based index N, matching the published source calculation start. A period of N therefore requires N plus one completed bars.
Assumptions and limits
- At least period plus one ordered high-low-close bars are required.
- Rows must be oldest to newest and use one symbol, timeframe and feed.
- The entered history and starting point affect the EMA and may differ from a platform buffer.
- Positive and negative values are displayed neutrally without a zero-line interpretation.
- The page emits no strength, trend, reversal, divergence, entry or exit label.

How to interpret the result
The positive value is the latest entered high minus the declared EMA. It depends on the first-close seed and the full entered history. The page does not convert it into buying pressure, trend strength or a trade signal.
