Source-Verified Pivot Point Calculator
The source-verified pivot route records where and when you read an observed OHLC candle before applying the same deterministic formulas as the manual calculator. Despite the legacy “live” URL, it does not fetch prices. The provenance record improves auditability but does not validate the source, predict reactions or create trading signals.

Calculation and source contract
The formula engine accepts only positive, finite values; requires high to exceed low; and requires the previous close and DeMark previous open to remain inside that candle’s range. Woodie uses the current period open, which can gap outside the prior range.
Woodie P = (previous high + previous low + 2 × current open) / 4
DeMark P = conditional X / 4

How to interpret the result
The result is reproducible because the source and verification fields accompany the entered OHLC, but the calculator neither fetches nor independently validates that candle. The derived levels do not predict market reactions or create entries.

Verification checklist and limits
- Confirm the symbol, candle period, timezone and session cutoff on the source platform.
- Use one source and one completed candle for previous open, high, low and close.
- For Woodie, separately record the current period open from the same source.
- Traditional and Classic have different extended levels, so use the same named variant as the comparison platform.
- Treat all output as derived reference levels, not observed prices or executable orders.

- TradingView — Pivot Points Standard documentation publishes the Traditional, Fibonacci, Woodie, Classic, DeMark and Camarilla formula conventions.
- This page uses Pivot Levels model 1.1.0 and records user-entered provenance only. The supplied HTTPS URL is validated as text but is not fetched, uploaded, endorsed or independently verified.
Frequently asked questions
- No. The URL is preserved for continuity, but the calculator now requires you to enter observed OHLC and its HTTPS source. It does not fetch, synthesize or refresh market data.
- A series of closes does not reveal the highest and lowest prices traded inside each period. Estimating those extremes would create modeled OHLC rather than observed OHLC.
- Use a broker or market-data platform that shows the required candle and clearly defines its symbol, period and session. Keep all OHLC inputs from the same source and candle.
- No. The URL is validated as HTTPS and displayed with the local result for your record. This calculator does not fetch the page, upload the URL or save it in browser storage.
- The period selector labels your record; the arithmetic uses the OHLC you enter. Supply the previous completed daily, weekly or monthly candle that matches the selected period.
- Yes. Data coverage, timezone, session cutoff and included trading hours can change a candle’s OHLC. The source record helps explain those differences.
- They were removed. A pivot formula produces reference levels but does not establish bullish or bearish direction, level strength, reversal probability or breakout probability.
- No. The page calculates in your browser and does not use local storage for OHLC, source URL, date or reference price. Copy the result if you need a record.
