Challenge cash ledger

Prop Firm Challenge Cost Calculator

Reconcile challenge purchases, paid add-ons, reset or retry charges and refunds already received in one currency. A possible future refund stays in a separate conditional scenario rather than reducing the primary outlay.

How challenge cash outlay is calculated

Gross paid = Purchases × Fee per purchase + Add-ons + Reset or retry charges
Net outlay to date = Gross paid - Refunds already received

A potential future refund appears only in the secondary conditional result because current provider approval and timing are outside the model.

Worked example from the audited fixture

Three purchases at $100 contribute $300. Adding $50 of add-ons and $25 of reset or retry charges gives $375 gross cash paid. After subtracting a $100 refund already received, net outlay to date is $275, or approximately $91.67 per purchase. A separate entered $100 future refund would reduce the conditional scenario to $175 only if it is later received.

How to interpret the result

The primary $275 figure is an entered cash ledger, not the expected cost of passing an evaluation. The conditional refund is kept out of that figure because the model does not verify provider terms, eligibility, approval or timing. Simulated account size and possible future payouts receive no value in this calculation.

Assumptions and limits

  • All monetary inputs must use one currency; the page performs no conversion.
  • Enter the actual paid amount after discounts and payment-provider charges.
  • Tax, chargebacks, currency conversion and time value are outside the ledger.
  • A future refund may depend on product, phase, payout and review conditions.
  • No result is a success probability, expected cost, affordability assessment, ranking or recommendation.

Frequently asked questions

  • It adds entered purchase fees, add-ons and reset or retry charges, then subtracts refunds already received.
  • A future refund can remain conditional on current provider terms and account events, so it does not reduce the primary outlay to date.
  • Enter the amount actually paid per purchase after discounts and any payment charge included in that transaction.
  • No. Convert records to one verified currency before entering them because this model contains no exchange-rate conversion.
  • No. That would require a success-probability model. This page reports only the deterministic cash ledger you entered.
  • No. Simulated capital is not cash paid by the user and receives no economic value in this ledger.
  • Use the separate Payout Split Calculator. This route is limited to challenge purchases, add-ons, resets, retries and refunds.
  • No. The calculator does not compare provider terms, rules, service, payout reliability, jurisdiction or suitability.
