How the entered challenge snapshot is calculated

Target progress compares the current rule-defined account value with the entered starting value and profit-target amount. Trading-day progress compares two user-entered whole-number counts. Daily and overall loss allowances are calculated separately, while the same open stop-risk reserve and planned new risk are placed beside both.

Target remaining = Starting value + Profit target - Current rule-defined value
Projected allowance remaining = Entered allowance - Loss used - Open stop-risk reserve - Planned new risk

Negative loss-allowance remaining is retained as a signed shortfall. The page does not combine the four states into a pass or breach decision because additional provider rules may exist.

Assumptions and limits

  • No provider, account size, evaluation phase, profit target, loss amount or day requirement is built in.
  • The page does not know whether a rule uses balance, equity, closed positions, unrealized P/L, commissions, swaps, static drawdown, trailing drawdown or a high-water mark.
  • The page has no clock and does not infer reset time, timezone, trading session or what qualifies as a trading day.
  • Consistency, best-day, inactivity, permitted product, position-size, news-trading, holding, strategy, platform and payout rules remain outside the result.
  • Open stop-risk reserve is not a floating-P/L reading or a prediction that a stop will be reached. Gaps and execution beyond entered amounts remain outside the result.
  • Target, day and allowance states do not establish pass, breach, funding, payout, suitability or probability.

Frequently asked questions

  • It calculates user-entered profit-target progress, qualifying-day progress, and separate daily and overall loss-budget states in one account currency.
  • No. It does not know every provider rule or account event. The four displayed states are arithmetic checks, not a pass, breach, funding or payout determination.
  • Rules can differ by provider, product, phase, platform and date. Enter exact amounts and definitions from the current official terms for the account being reviewed.
  • Enter the balance, equity or closed-position value required by the specific profit-target rule you verified. The planner cannot select that definition for you.
  • The same user-entered open stop-risk reserve and planned new risk are added to both the daily and overall loss-used amounts to show two separate projected budget states.
  • It has no price or account feed. Include any floating loss only inside the loss-used amount when the exact verified rule requires it, without counting the same amount twice.
  • You enter whole-number counts using the provider's current definition. The page does not infer sessions, time zones, minimum activity or whether a day qualifies.
  • Official provider pages show that target, loss, trading-day and consistency mechanics can differ and can change. Recheck the exact program and phase before relying on an entered snapshot.

Sources and methodology

The arithmetic contracts are Challenge Progress model 1.0.0 and Entered Loss Budget model 1.0.0. The external pages illustrate why rule definitions must remain dated and provider-specific; their current values are not copied into this calculator.
