Prop Firm Scaling Plan Calculator
Build a firm-neutral account-allocation ladder from your own percentage or fixed scale increment, maximum allocation and displayed event count. Each tier exposes entered qualifying-growth and loss-reference amounts without claiming that the provider will approve or award a scale-up.
Define the entered scaling plan
Use one current program and cohort. Provider reviews can include criteria that are not reducible to an allocation ladder.

How the scaling ladder is built
Fixed next tier = prior allocation + entered fixed amount
Displayed allocation = min(uncapped next tier, entered maximum allocation)
The first row is the current entered allocation. Percentage mode compounds each later tier from the prior displayed allocation; fixed mode adds the same entered amount at each event.
The maximum entered allocation is a hard arithmetic cap. When an uncapped tier would exceed it, the table shows the cap and stops rather than creating repeated identical rows.
The qualifying-growth reference multiplies each displayed allocation by one entered percentage. It is a comparison amount only and does not determine whether withdrawals, retained profit, profitable cycles or other provider criteria count.
Optional daily-loss and overall-loss percentages create reference amounts at every displayed allocation. They remain zero when zero is entered and never claim that a provider scales those limits proportionally.
Current progress compares one entered qualifying amount with the current-tier reference. Excess above the reference is not rolled into later tiers because provider treatment can differ.
Worked example from the audited fixture
The audited example begins with a 100,000 allocation, applies a 25% increase, caps the ladder at 250,000, requests six future events, and enters 10% qualifying growth, 5% daily-loss and 10% overall-loss references.
- The allocations are 100,000, 125,000, 156,250, 195,312.50, 244,140.63 and 250,000. The last increase is reduced to 5,859.38 because the entered cap binds.
- At the current tier, the 10% growth reference is 10,000. With 6,000 entered so far, the remaining arithmetic amount is 4,000 and progress is 60%; no provider approval or forecast follows.
Reproduce it: select “Load audited example” above. The governed fixture was independently recomputed from decimal arithmetic and UTC date-only rules.
How to interpret the result
- Start with the method. A 25% repeated increase compounds, while a fixed 25,000 increment remains additive.
- Check the cap row for a reduced final increment. It prevents a projected tier from silently exceeding the user-entered maximum.
- Use the growth-reference column only against the exact provider definition you verified; distributed reward, account growth and retained balance are not interchangeable.
- Loss-reference amounts are sensitivity checks. A provider may keep, reset, recalculate or replace them after a scale event.
- A current amount above the entered reference is shown as arithmetic excess, not automatic credit toward another tier.
- Rebuild the ladder whenever provider terms, purchase/reset cohort, program phase or current allocation changes.
Assumptions and limits
- No provider review, trading history, payout, account status or allocation feed is connected.
- Review frequency, number of qualifying cycles, profitable-cycle tests, payout count and compliance checks are not inferred.
- The percentage method compounds from the prior displayed allocation; it does not add a percentage of the original allocation unless that happens to match.
- Daily and overall loss references are simple percentages of allocation, not reproductions of trailing or equity-based provider rules.
- Taxes, fees, reward shares, retained profit, withdrawals, margin, leverage and execution are outside the ladder.
- No growth target, scale increment, account size, risk limit, provider, strategy or trade is recommended.
Which prop-firm calculator answers which question?
The three Batch 48 tools separate a drawdown floor, an allocation ladder and a date calendar. The existing Challenge Planner keeps target and day counts, while the existing Payout Split Calculator keeps reward-share arithmetic. This prevents one convenient screen from implying a provider verdict it cannot make.
| Tool | Primary input | Primary output | Hard boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trailing Drawdown | Reference values, amount and optional lock | Entered floor and signed arithmetic distance | No provider breach decision |
| Scaling Plan | Allocation, increment, cap and reference percentages | Tier-by-tier entered allocation ladder | No provider scale-up approval |
| Payout Date | Anchor, counts, weekdays and exclusions | Earliest candidate request and processing dates | No qualification or delivery promise |
Frequently asked questions
- It creates a tier-by-tier account-allocation ladder from an entered current allocation, fixed or percentage increase, maximum allocation and number of future events.
- Percentage mode multiplies each prior displayed allocation by one plus the entered rate. Fixed mode adds the same entered currency amount at every event.
- The maximum entered allocation is a hard arithmetic cap. The final increase is reduced when necessary, and the table stops when the cap is reached.
- It is each displayed allocation multiplied by the entered growth percentage. It does not determine which profits, rewards or cycles a provider will count.
- No. They are simple percentage references entered by the user and do not reproduce trailing, balance, equity, reset or liquidation mechanics.
- No. Provider reviews can include payout counts, profitable cycles, account conduct and other terms that the calculator neither observes nor approves.
- No. It is conditional ladder arithmetic, not a prediction that the account will qualify, scale, remain active or receive the displayed allocation.
- No. It recommends no growth target, increment, allocation, loss limit, provider, strategy, signal or trade.

Version 1.0.0 performs deterministic local arithmetic and uploads no entered values. Official provider pages establish that definitions vary; they do not become embedded presets. Verify the current program, phase, cohort and legal terms before each use.

Keep broker execution separate from prop-firm rules
Prop-firm arithmetic does not replace the broker or platform specification for volume, margin, price, session, liquidation and order execution. Verify both rule sets before exposing capital.
