Compare the five accounts
The useful starting point is the trade you intend to place: its instrument, size and platform. A smaller advertised spread is only one component. A cent account also uses different units, while R StocksTrader belongs to a separate platform. The current account comparison and minimum-deposit FAQ give the following headline terms.
| Account | Initial minimum | Advertised spread | Commission basis | Maximum headline leverage | Platform |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $10 or equivalent | From 1.3 pips | Spread-based forex pricing | 1:2000 | MT4 / MT5 |
| ProCent | $10 or equivalent | From 1.3 pips | Spread-based forex pricing; cent units | 1:2000 | MT4 / MT5 |
| Prime | $10 or equivalent | From 0 pips | $10 per $1 million turnover | 1:300 | MT4 / MT5 |
| ECN | $10 or equivalent | From 0 pips | $20 per $1 million turnover | 1:500 | MT4 / MT5 |
| R StocksTrader | $100 | From 0 pips | Instrument-specific schedule | 1:500 | R StocksTrader |
These are provider minimums and maximums, not typical execution quotes. Instrument limits, account eligibility and payment-method minimums can narrow them. The minimum-deposit guide separates opening requirements from a workable trading budget.

Which account solves which problem?
Pro offers a straightforward spread-based comparison for ordinary forex orders. ProCent is more useful when the smallest standard-account order is still too large for a planned cash risk. It allows smaller economic exposure, but its large-looking cent balance can confuse an EA or a position-size calculation. Start with ProCent units and lot sizing before treating its order numbers like standard lots.
Prime and ECN suit a comparison built around the spread plus explicit commission. Prime has the lower advertised turnover rate and a lower maximum leverage; this does not establish better fills or a lower cost on every order. We have not measured execution on either account. R StocksTrader should be evaluated through its own instrument and fee schedule, especially where shares, share CFDs and forex appear in the same platform. See the R StocksTrader guide.
Read “per million” correctly
At an illustrative EUR/USD price of 1.10, one standard forex lot of 100,000 euros is $110,000 of turnover. Prime commission at $10 per million is $1.10 for one side. Charging an opening and closing side at the same assumed price gives about $2.20. ECN at $20 per million gives about $4.40. Actual closing prices and currency conversion can change that amount.
The calculation is turnover × rate ÷ 1,000,000. It is not a flat $10 or $20 per lot. Gold has a different contract value, so copying a forex dollar charge into XAUUSD understates or overstates the result. Our full trading-cost comparison shows how to add a spread without double-counting it.

Check the limits that affect your order
The headline leverage is a ceiling, not an instruction to use all available buying power. Pro and ProCent 1:2000 eligibility has equity and time restrictions, and a Welcome Bonus account has a lower cap. The leverage and margin guide explains those conditions before you select an account.
Open the exact symbol specification in the intended platform and record its contract size, minimum volume, step, commission, swap and margin calculation. Then compare the same proposed exposure on each account. An account-wide table cannot establish a current spread on a particular symbol or the margin needed during a special trading session. If your calculated size is below the platform minimum, increasing it solely to make the order go through increases your planned risk.
Resolve old swap-free descriptions
Some older account tables still describe Prime as unavailable for swap-free trading. RoboForex announced its newer Full Swap-Free programme on 4 February 2026 and now displays it across account types. Eligible newly created accounts and covered instruments are the relevant test; a generic card does not make every existing position swap-free. Confirm the selection and status in Members Area before relying on it.
Keep a copy of the account terms you select and the first account statement. Check that the platform name, base currency and server match your selection before funding. Those small identity checks are more useful than choosing an account because its name sounds more advanced.
Frequently asked questions
What are the current RoboForex account types?
The current comparison lists Pro, ProCent, Prime, ECN and R StocksTrader. Availability depends on client eligibility and the chosen platform. Compare the same intended instrument and economic exposure before deciding which pricing structure fits your workflow.
Do Prime and ECN require a large deposit?
The current minimum-deposit FAQ lists $10 or equivalent for both. That entry threshold does not determine an appropriate trading budget. Minimum order size, stop distance, spread and commission can still make a proposed trade too large for a small balance.
Is Prime commission $10 per lot?
No. The advertised basis is $10 per $1 million turnover. Convert the contract value into the commission currency and count both transaction sides. At an assumed EUR/USD rate of 1.10, a standard euro lot represents $110,000 of turnover rather than $100,000.
Is ProCent the same as a demo?
No. ProCent is a real cent-denominated account. Its smaller units do not prevent losses or make standard-lot calculations interchangeable. Check the currency label and contract size before transferring a standard-account EA setting into a cent account.
Does 1:2000 apply to every account?
No. Prime is advertised up to 1:300 and ECN up to 1:500. Pro and ProCent higher leverage has separate eligibility, equity and time conditions. Check the selected symbol as well, because the account maximum does not determine every instrument’s margin requirement.
Can an old Prime swap-free table settle eligibility?
No. The newer Full Swap-Free programme has its own eligibility and new-account rules. Check the current account status and covered instrument before holding overnight. An existing ordinary account is not automatically converted just because its account type appears in current programme marketing.
