An XM promotion in Cambodia is easier to judge when the benefit, account company, trading server and payment recipient all describe the same arrangement. Compare those details before treating a bonus percentage as a reason to deposit.
Cambodia’s Securities and Exchange Regulator, SERC, provides a particularly useful starting point. Its derivative-broker register includes fields for licence or authorization, trading server and client-money account. This guide explains how to use those fields. Our public-source review on 8 September 2026 did not establish an XM account provider for Cambodian residents, current individual acceptance or an XM-specific SERC authorization.
XM bonus in Cambodia: what should you check?
Current local offer: not verified in this review. That does not prove there is no offer. Before choosing an account, ask what benefit is actually available for your circumstances and whether it fits the account you want.
Cambodia check: SERC’s derivative-broker register connects company, licence, server and client-money-account information. This review did not confirm an XM-specific SERC authorization or current resident acceptance.
A local promotion should identify who grants the benefit and which account receives it. Ask how the claimed company, server and payment instructions relate to the relevant official record.
The useful comparison is the benefit alongside the cash commitment and withdrawal conditions. Our XM deposit-bonus guide explains the credit mechanics and a conditional worked example. Its documented amounts are not a verified offer for this country.
- Do the offer, account company and trading server identify a consistent service?
- What are the current account and residence conditions for this promotion?
- What currency and recipient will appear on the payment instruction, and what net deposit is credited?
What does the SERC record help you check?
The value of the register is the connection between its fields. Finding a similar company name is only the beginning. A person claiming to represent a locally authorized derivative broker should be able to identify the corresponding legal company and explain how the account and server relate to that record.
| Record to compare | Useful question |
|---|---|
| Legal company | Is this the company that would enter the agreement with me? |
| Licence or authorization | Does the official record cover the activity being offered? |
| Trading server | Does the proposed server match, or is there a documented explanation for a difference? |
| Client-money account | If local client-money protection is claimed, which published record supports that claim? |
SERC also publishes a broker, central-counterparty and approved-products table. Read the status and product entries associated with the relevant firm. A row for another broker does not establish XM’s permissions, and domestic product limits are not an XM offshore account specification.
Start with the agreement, then compare the local claim
- Write down the complete legal name. Use the proposed customer agreement, including the company suffix and jurisdiction. Keep the document date and public URL. “XM” alone is too broad for a legal-company comparison.
- Separate the parties. Record the account provider, any local person or company introducing the service, and any payment recipient. Ask what each party does. Do not assume a local introducer holds the account or client money.
- Check a claimed Cambodian authorization. Compare the exact legal name with SERC’s record. Where a registration or licence reference is supplied, compare that too. A logo on an advertisement is not a register entry.
- Read the associated status and products. Check the broker and central-counterparty information where relevant. Save the page and date so that later changes can be distinguished from what was originally represented.
- Resolve mismatches in writing. A different name or server is a question to investigate. It is not, by itself, proof of fraud or proof that two companies share a licence.

Which XM company would provide the account?
That remains a question for the documents applicable to the individual application. During this review, indexed text from the XM regulation page identified XM Global Limited in Belize, while opening the same public URL returned a European entity and an EEA-resident service statement. This difference does not allocate a Cambodian reader to either company.
XM’s legal-documents page says applicable documents are identified during registration. Obtain and read the proposed agreement before deciding whether to proceed. Ask the provider to confirm the entity using your actual residence and relevant nationality information. An available language or a country appearing in a form does not settle acceptance or Cambodian authorization.
The main XM broker review explains the broader group and product questions. Use this Cambodia page for the local verification work, and the registration and verification guide for the general application process once those questions are resolved.
Record the platform without treating it as a licence
Ask which platform, account type and server belong to the proposed agreement. Keep those details together. If the provider supplies a server name, compare it with any corresponding SERC server entry when a local authorization is being claimed. Ask for the relationship to be explained if the labels differ.
A successful login would demonstrate access to that account environment. It would not answer who is legally providing the service. Avoid borrowing login details or choosing a similarly named server to make the screen work. Our XM MT4 guide and XM MT5 guide cover the general platform procedures; neither establishes Cambodian eligibility.
Keep a payment record that can be checked
No Cambodian bank, wallet, account currency, payment fee or withdrawal time was verified for this guide. In particular, the appearance of a bank in a local broker record does not mean that bank supports an XM payment route.
Before acting on a payment instruction, ask for the recipient’s legal name, the purpose of the payment, the account company it relates to and the relevant provider document. If a separate payment processor appears, request an explanation of its role. Do not invent a transfer purpose to overcome a bank’s questions.
For an existing payment or withdrawal enquiry, prepare a compact record: request date, amount and currency, provider reference, status shown and the actual bank or payment record. Redact full account numbers when sharing material outside the provider’s secure support channel. Ask whether the next step sits with the account provider or payment institution. The XM withdrawal guide explains the general distinction between a provider’s processing status and funds actually received.

A support-question worksheet for Cambodia
Copy these questions into one enquiry. Request document names or public records alongside the answers.
- What is the full company name and jurisdiction that would contract with a person currently residing in Cambodia?
- What information about my residence and nationality is needed to determine eligibility?
- Are you or an introducer claiming SERC authorization for this service? If so, which exact firm, licence and activity support that statement?
- Which platform and server belong to this agreement, and how do they relate to any local register entry being cited?
- Who would receive a payment, what is that party’s role, and where is the relationship explained?
- Which company’s complaint procedure applies, and where can I read it before proceeding?
Frequently asked questions
Is XM licensed by SERC in Cambodia?
This review did not verify an XM-specific SERC authorization or complete an exhaustive search of every possible legal-company alias. Use the full contracting name and any claimed licence reference for the official check. Do not treat another broker’s entry as XM’s.
Can Cambodian residents open an XM account?
Current acceptance was not established. The relevant provider needs to assess the actual residence and other applicable information. A translated page, old offer or selectable country is not an individual eligibility decision.
Does SERC’s client-money field confirm a safe XM deposit?
No. It describes information associated with the listed firm. It does not authenticate an unrelated instruction or confirm that XM supports a particular Cambodian payment method.
What should I do when the names do not match?
Keep the original documents and request a written explanation of the relationship. Recheck any claimed local authorization with SERC. Avoid treating a chat message that says “same company” as a substitute for the legal record.
Use the XM country-guides directory if your actual residence is elsewhere. This is educational verification guidance, not a personal legal opinion or a recommendation to fund an account. Leveraged trading can produce substantial losses.
