An XM deposit bonus can add trading credit to an eligible account, giving you more margin alongside your own deposit. That is the benefit to assess. It does not turn a deposit into a larger cash withdrawal, remove trading losses or make a poor account choice worthwhile.
This guide helps you answer three questions: what could the offer add, do its conditions fit you, and what should you check before accepting it? For the wider decision about the company, trading costs and service, start with our XM broker review.
What is the benefit of an XM deposit bonus?
The earlier XM bonus explanation and the English Global page checked on 12 September 2026 describe extra trading margin, with availability and percentage varying by region. The credit is not withdrawable cash. A displayed percentage is a prompt to read the matched offer, not evidence that every account qualifies.
Think of the decision in this order: choose an account whose costs and conditions suit you, establish whether it has an offer, then decide whether the offer is useful. Keep your planned cash risk separate from the promotional figure. More margin is not a reason to increase position size.
The expanded Global account cards show deposit-bonus eligibility for Standard, subject to country exclusions, and mark Ultra Low and Shares as ineligible. That account-level comparison does not establish a specific current promotion, amount or individual approval. Choose the account on costs and suitability before considering the credit.
| What to compare | Why it matters to your decision |
|---|---|
| Additional trading credit | Understand the extra margin available under the specific offer and when it can disappear. |
| Your deposited money | Keep an affordable cash budget. Do not raise it just to reach the largest advertised tier. |
| Account costs | Compare spread, commission and overnight charges for the instruments you expect to trade. |
| Withdrawal plan | Work out what a withdrawal would do to both cash and credit before relying on either amount. |
Which XM bonus amounts can you rely on?
The table below records programme documents checked on 8 September 2026. A separate public session on 12 September displayed a 100% bonus up to USD 500, but we did not submit an application or establish who qualified. Keep that observation separate from the historical document terms below and from the offer attached to your own account.
| Official material | Documented amount or feature | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| XM Global deposit-bonus terms | 50% tier capped at $500; 20% tier capped at $4,500; combined credit cap $5,000. The first tier can apply to a first or subsequent deposit. Ultra Low and Shares accounts are excluded in this document. | Match the document to the offer actually assigned to you. It is not a current worldwide entitlement. |
| XM Global no-deposit terms | $30 credit for qualifying new clients, with specific claiming and profit-withdrawal conditions. | Do not assume that a no-deposit search result, old code or account application qualifies. |
| Thailand no-deposit document | $50; the document refers to Thailand residents and a limited programme beginning in December 2022. | Historical, geographically scoped evidence. Current availability is unconfirmed. |
| Africa January 2023 no-deposit document | A dated regional $50 programme. | Do not carry its amount or country rules into a different offer. |
| XMTrading Japan account comparison | Publicly advertises ¥13,000 opening credit. Standard and Micro also advertise a 100% tier capped at USD 500 and a 20% tier capped at USD 10,000; KIWAMI and Zero exclude deposit credit. | Checked 8 September 2026. Read the Japan bonus section for the separate programme and account checks. This is not a personal or referral-campaign entitlement. |
When two pages disagree, do not choose the more attractive figure. Compare their company names, dates, countries and account exclusions. Request the controlling terms through the official provider channel if those fields still do not line up. XM’s legal-documents page explains that applicable account documents are identified during registration.
Worked example: your deposit, credit and withdrawal
Illustration under the linked XM Global deposit document, assuming eligibility, no earlier tier use and no trading, costs or open positions:
| Step | Cash balance | Bonus credit |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit $1,000; 50% credit applies | $1,000 | $500 |
| Request $250, or 25% of the cash balance | $750 after withdrawal | $125 removed; $375 remains |

The credit is not withdrawable cash. The document removes credit proportionally when funds are withdrawn. Its open-position calculation also includes floating profit or loss, so this no-position example must not be reused unchanged for an active account. See sections C and D of the deposit terms.
Here, the remaining cash and credit add to $1,125, but that total is not the same as a cash amount available to withdraw. The example shows account arithmetic, not a trading result. It says nothing about whether a trade would survive a price move or become profitable.
The current Global Help Center likewise distinguishes non-withdrawable bonus credit from profits and says withdrawals remove bonus proportionally. Ordinary withdrawal checks and any programme-specific profit conditions still apply. A statement that profits may be withdrawn does not turn every historical no-deposit offer into an unconditional cash payment.

Before requesting money from an account with open trades, check its current margin position and the consequences shown in its own terms. Our XM withdrawal guide covers the request and payment stages. This bonus page explains the promotion questions to resolve alongside them.

How to check and claim a deposit bonus
Use the offer actually shown to your account. The sequence below is based on public instructions; we did not claim a bonus or test an authenticated confirmation screen.
- Confirm the provider and your route. Use your actual residence and citizenship. Read the company in the proposed agreement, then check the relevant local information in our XM country guides.
- Compare the account before the promotion. List the platform, base currency and trading charges beside the bonus option. Our XM account-types comparison helps you keep those fields together.
- Find the offer assigned to that account. Save its name, date and official terms. Check whether it applies to a new or existing client, the chosen account and your residence. Ask about referral conditions if the terms contain them.
- Read the acceptance instructions. Establish whether you must opt in before depositing, meet a verification request or take another stated step. Do not guess that a deposit automatically activates a promotion.
- Choose an affordable deposit and inspect the complete payment quote. Keep the amount credited to the trading account separate from the bank debit, conversion charge and promotional credit. See the minimum-deposit and funding guide.
- If you proceed, save the confirmation and check each account entry. Match the deposit, credit and offer reference. If the expected credit is absent, contact official support with those records before making another payment.

For the application itself, use the XM registration and verification walkthrough. Completing registration, qualifying for a promotion and seeing credit added are three separate outcomes. Check each one instead of treating the first as proof of the next.
How is a no-deposit bonus different?
A no-deposit promotion removes the qualifying deposit from that particular offer. It does not remove eligibility rules or create guaranteed earnings. Establish whether the offer is current before spending time on a claim.
The linked $30 XM Global document describes phone verification by SMS and/or voice through the Members Area. It gives eligible clients 30 days from account opening to claim. Its profit-withdrawal conditions include 0.1 standard lot of volume and at least five completed round-turn trades. Those are the rules of that document, not universal XM conditions. The 30-day period is a claim deadline, not a stated deadline for completing that trading volume.
- Confirm the specific no-deposit programme and its current eligibility rules.
- Identify the separate deadlines for account opening, claiming and any other required action.
- Follow only the identity or phone-verification request that belongs to the official account.
- Check the credit entry and save the matched terms before relying on the promotion.
- Read any profit-withdrawal requirements, trade definitions and exclusions. Do not manufacture trades simply to meet an advertising target.
A demo account may be a more useful starting point if your immediate aim is to learn the platform. Our XM demo guide explains that route. Practice results do not establish how a funded account will perform.
Should you choose a bonus or a lower-cost account?
Compare the account you would use without a promotion. A frequent trader and an occasional trader can value the same offer differently because their trading costs and withdrawal habits differ.
For a purely hypothetical comparison, suppose one account costs $2 more per completed trade than another. Twenty such trades would cost $40 more. That is a recurring cash cost; it is not directly equivalent to a headline credit amount. The numbers are invented teaching examples, not XM fees or a claim that one XM account is cheaper.
- Expect frequent withdrawals? Give the credit-removal rules more attention.
- Trade often or hold overnight? Estimate transaction and holding costs for your own instruments.
- Still learning execution? Prioritise practice, clear specifications and a manageable cash budget.
- Only interested because the offer looks large? Reconsider the deposit amount before comparing bonus tiers.
Check XM bonus information for your country
Start with your actual residence. A translated page, a successful login or another trader’s screenshot does not establish your bonus eligibility. These local guides connect the promotion question with the provider, payment currency and withdrawal route:
- Japan: XMTrading credit and account exclusions, using its separate Japan terms.
- South Africa: current offer checks and older regional campaigns.
- Malaysia: bonus eligibility and MYR funding checks.
- Thailand: current terms versus the older USD 50 document.
- UAE: account company, bonus conditions and AED costs.
- Singapore: the status of the older USD 100 offer and the local provider notice.
For the remaining destinations, use the XM country guide directory. If you are comparing promotion types across brokers, our forex bonus overview separates deposit credit, no-deposit offers and rebates. This page owns the XM-specific rules; each country guide covers its local decision.
Keep bonuses, loyalty rewards and competitions separate
A deposit credit, loyalty balance and competition prize may appear near each other in marketing, but they are different programmes. Do not assume that eligibility for one transfers to another or that all of them can be withdrawn as cash.
| Benefit being assessed | Question to answer | Detailed guide |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit or no-deposit credit | Which account qualifies, and what happens on withdrawal or transfer? | This bonus guide owns those mechanics |
| Loyalty reward | Which entity, status, eligible activity and redemption rule apply? | XM Traders Club |
| Demo competition | Which current event, eligible entrants, scoring and prize terms apply? | XM demo-competition guide |
| Copy-trading allocation | Which funds and account can be used, and what fees apply? | XM copy-trading guide |
To compare an offer with a lower-cost account, use the spreads and fees worksheet. More credit is not a reduction in the spread or a guarantee against loss. Japan uses the separate XMTrading Japan guide; its Japanese loyalty guide covers XMP without importing the Global programme’s rules.
The additional country guides cover Bangladesh, Türkiye, Iraq, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Qatar. Each explains the local evidence and whether a country-specific offer has been verified. Inclusion is not a bonus-eligibility claim.
XM bonus FAQs
Is an XM deposit bonus free cash?
No. The public bonus explanation describes non-withdrawable trading credit. Keep the cash you deposit, credit added and any trading result separate when evaluating an offer.
Does everyone receive the same XM bonus?
No universal offer was established in this review. A country, legal company, account type and dated promotion can each change which conditions apply. Check the offer presented to you.
Do I need an XM bonus code?
Use a code only if the matched official promotion asks for it. We have not verified a universal code. An old code list does not establish that an offer still exists or that your account qualifies.
Can I withdraw profits from a bonus account?
Read the rules of the specific promotion alongside the ordinary withdrawal process. In particular, distinguish a profit condition from the treatment of promotional credit. Do not apply a no-deposit programme’s trading requirements to an unrelated deposit offer.
Why did the expected bonus not appear?
Check the correct account, acceptance step, verification status and dated terms. Send official support the offer reference and relevant deposit confirmation through the secure channel. Do not send passwords or make a second deposit to test a guess.
Where should I look for an XM bonus in my country?
Use the relevant XM country guide for local checks, then confirm the current account offer. Country-specific evidence is needed before presenting an amount as available there. Japan follows separate XMTrading terms.
Review scope: Historical documents and current public-page observations are dated separately. We did not open an account, claim a bonus, fund, withdraw or trade for this review. Forex and CFDs can produce substantial losses; promotional credit does not remove that risk.
