FBS Withdrawal Problems: How to Check Rejections, Delays and Missing Payments

Use request status and payment evidence to investigate FBS withdrawal problems without guessing at the cause.

Check FBS account terms
FBS Withdrawal help editorial guide cover

When an FBS withdrawal has a problem, start with the status in Transaction History: pending, rejected or completed. Those states need different checks. A positive trading balance, a bank screenshot or another trader’s experience does not identify the cause by itself.

FBS’s help describes method restrictions, possible rejection with open orders and separate broker and payment-provider processing stages. This guide uses those documented rules to organise an investigation. It does not claim that every delay is normal, prove misconduct, or guarantee recovery.

Start with the exact status

What you seeFirst useful checkNext evidence
PendingHas FBS approved the request or asked for information?Submission time, method estimate and support reference
RejectedWhat reason appears in Transaction History?Deposit route, account status and relevant terms
Completed, not receivedHas the payment provider credited the recipient?Transfer reference and bank or wallet trace
No request shownWas confirmation completed in the correct account?OTP step and account selection

Record what the system actually says before trying another withdrawal. Repeating a request without understanding the first result can make the history harder to follow.

Rejected because of the payment method

FBS’s rejection article says a withdrawal can be rejected when the chosen method differs from the deposit method. The wider withdrawal guide explains card-first return priority and the treatment of deposited amounts and profit.

Compare the request with the full deposit history, not just the latest deposit. If several methods were used, identify how much was deposited through each and which amounts have already been returned. The withdrawal guide sets out that sequence.

If the original card has expired, a wallet is closed or an old method is no longer displayed, ask FBS for the permitted alternative and any evidence required. Do not assume an unrelated third-party account is an acceptable workaround.

An “Insufficient funds” message

The FBS rejection help unusually states that a withdrawal request with open orders will be rejected with an insufficient-funds comment. That is a provider instruction, not a conclusion that any visible balance should be withdrawable.

Check whether the selected account has open positions, whether you are reading balance or equity, and whether another request is already pending. Also check the currency and units, especially on Cent accounts. These are useful checks, not a diagnosis of the individual case.

Ask support to identify the specific rule affecting the request if the message remains unclear. Avoid closing trades hastily solely to clear a payment message without considering market exposure and costs. The cost guide explains why changing a position has its own financial consequences.

Verification or payment-detail problems

Inspect the profile’s verification status and any request for additional information. FBS’s verification help requires accurate information matching official documents. Blurred, incomplete or inconsistent documentation may need correction, but do not assume that is the cause unless the account or support says so.

The verification guide describes the documented process. Upload documents only through the official secure flow. Do not send identity images, bank-card security codes, passwords or OTPs to people responding in public comments.

A pending request

Check the date, time and method-specific estimate. FBS’s main withdrawal help says requests are processed within 24 hours, but the dedicated timing article focuses on what happens after approval. The two pages also differ on some bank timing estimates.

Because those public estimates are not fully consistent, ask which timeline applies to the actual method. Preserve that answer and the support reference. A pending status that has passed the applicable estimate warrants a specific update request, rather than relying on a generic “instant withdrawal” statement.

Completed at FBS, missing at the bank or wallet

The timing help distinguishes FBS approval from further payment-system processing. It gives an average of 3–4 business days for cards and usually 7–10 business days for bank transfers, with faster electronic-payment estimates. These are provider descriptions, not a guarantee.

If FBS says the transfer is completed, ask for the payment reference and the date it was sent. Ask the receiving provider what reference it needs to trace the payment. Match the amount, currency, destination and any conversion so the same transaction is being investigated.

If the two parties give conflicting information, keep both responses in one record. Do not let the discussion become a series of disconnected screenshots with no dates or identifiers.

Prepare a concise evidence record

  1. Record the affected trading account and request reference privately.
  2. State the amount, currency, method and submission time.
  3. Copy the exact status or rejection reason.
  4. Summarise the relevant deposit and previous withdrawal history.
  5. Attach only the evidence requested through the official secure channel.
  6. State the specific explanation or action you need, such as a rejection reason or payment trace.

Keep credentials, OTPs and unrelated personal information out of the record. A clear timeline helps support investigate; it does not guarantee a particular outcome.

When to use the formal complaint process

If ordinary support does not resolve the issue, use the FBS Complaint Handling Policy for the correct entity. It contains a complaint form, submission details and response provisions. The policy describes short reporting periods, while also saying late complaints will be reviewed, so report an issue promptly rather than assuming you must wait indefinitely.

The policy permits escalation to Belize’s FSC if dissatisfied with the outcome. Verify the regulator’s current contact details directly. The support and complaints guide explains the evidence and escalation sequence.

Public review sites can reveal themes worth checking, but individual posts are not adjudicated payment records. We have not verified the account histories behind those reports and do not use them to decide the cause of your case.

Frequently asked questions

Why was my withdrawal rejected?

Read the reason in Transaction History first. FBS documents payment-method restrictions and open-order issues, but the specific account needs its own explanation.

Does a delay prove FBS is a scam?

No. A delay alone does not establish the cause. Preserve evidence, check the applicable timetable and escalate an unresolved issue through the formal process.

Should I keep trying different methods?

First understand the original request and the permitted return route. Multiple attempts can create confusion without fixing the underlying condition.

What if FBS says completed but my bank has nothing?

Request the payment reference and sent date, then ask the receiving provider to trace the same transaction.

Can this guide recover my funds?

No. It provides a structured investigation and complaint workflow. It cannot determine an account-specific outcome or guarantee payment.
