Vietnamese-language FBS material does not establish permission for a Vietnamese resident to use an offshore forex account. A July 2026 response published by Vietnam’s government directs the offshore-account eligibility question to the State Bank of Vietnam. This review has not established local authorisation for FBS Markets Inc or an individual resident’s permission.
The useful next step is to clarify the provider, product and resident rules, rather than infer acceptance from a translated signup page. The global FBS review covers general features. This guide addresses Vietnamese authority guidance, dong-denominated records and help for an existing account.
The current official answer is more careful than a sales page
On 10 July 2026, Báo Điện tử Chính phủ published a tax-authority response to a resident asking about overseas forex accounts and taxation. The response says the State Bank manages the relevant foreign-exchange authorisation question and directs the resident there for guidance. It also identifies an unresolved tax-classification question requiring further guidance.
That is not a general approval of offshore retail forex, nor a statement that profits are tax-free. Do not turn an unanswered point into a favourable conclusion. Ask about the specific provider, product, residence and proposed transaction before acting.
Earlier government reporting of a December 2020 State Bank warning said that forex platforms had not been licensed at that time and warned about unauthorised operations. Keep that historical date visible. It is useful context, but it should not replace a current, product-specific enquiry.
A Vietnamese interface can describe a Belize company
The global FBS disclosure names FBS Markets Inc in Belize. The legal company in the proposed or existing agreement is the one to identify when asking the local authority about permission. Website language alone does not create a Vietnamese investment licence.
Also distinguish an introducer from the trading provider. A Vietnamese-speaking representative may explain a platform, but that does not automatically authorise the person to collect money, manage an account or make investment promises. Ask what role they perform and compare the answer with the agreement.
Keep the original company name and domain rather than translating them loosely in a complaint or enquiry. Exact names make it easier for a bank, authority or support team to identify the relationship you are describing.
VND cash, account currency and Cent units
If you already paid from a Vietnamese bank account, record the amount debited in VND and the amount credited to the trading account. The two currencies can have separate records and charges. A local payment label does not establish that your margin or trading profit is calculated in dong.
For an arithmetic illustration, VND 2,500,000 debited and USD 100 credited implies VND 25,000 per dollar before other fees. This is not today’s exchange rate, a verified FBS quote or a suggestion to fund. Use the method only to reconcile actual receipts and understand the difference between conversion costs and trading results.
Cent accounts add another possible source of confusion. The FBS Cent guide explains denomination and the documented partner condition. A displayed balance of 1,000 US cents represents USD 10, not USD 1,000 and not VND 1,000. The correct unit matters before comparing account screenshots or discussing a missing balance.
Do not infer a Vietnamese payment menu
This review did not test any named Vietnamese bank, wallet or resident account. FBS’s local-bank instructions describe a country-dependent menu. They do not prove which methods you can use or whether a proposed payment is permitted.
Be cautious when an intermediary offers to receive VND personally and credit the trading account manually. Clarify the recipient’s role, the agreement and the local permission. A successful transfer would prove that money moved, not that the service was authorised.
For existing funds, retain the original receipt and transaction reference. The withdrawal guide explains the provider’s general process, and the withdrawal problem guide helps distinguish status messages. Neither is evidence of a tested Vietnamese return route.
Bonus credit does not settle eligibility or tax
A Vietnamese bonus campaign cannot resolve the resident-authorisation question. Check the actual offer, account restrictions and withdrawal adjustments rather than assuming a global promotion applies. The bonus guide explains why deposit credit is different from cash and why historical no-deposit campaigns should not be advertised as a current entitlement.
Keep any credited bonus separate from your deposits and realised trading result in the records you give an adviser. Do not infer a tax exemption because the July 2026 official response identified a question needing further guidance. This guide does not provide a Vietnamese tax rate or classify your individual income.
Prepare a clear local enquiry
- Identify the precise legal company, website and product.
- State your real residence and whether the question concerns a proposed transaction or money already sent.
- Provide amounts in both the original VND payment and the trading account’s currency.
- Keep any document issue separate and consult the verification guide for the provider’s public process.
- Use official support for account records and the relevant Vietnamese authority or qualified adviser for local permission and tax questions.
The country directory provides routes for other residences. Changing language or selecting a different country is not a substitute for truthful account information and a proper local check.

Common questions
Is FBS authorised in Vietnam?
This review does not establish local authorisation. The July 2026 government-published response directs offshore forex eligibility questions to the State Bank of Vietnam.
Does a Vietnamese FBS website mean residents are accepted?
No. Website language does not establish an individual eligibility decision or permission under Vietnamese rules.
Is an FBS account balance in Vietnamese dong?
Check the account denomination. A VND payment may credit a different account currency, and a Cent account uses another display unit.
Are overseas FBS profits tax-free in Vietnam?
Do not infer that. The cited July 2026 response identified a tax question requiring further guidance. This review does not classify your income or provide an individual tax answer.
Can I claim an FBS Vietnam bonus?
No resident entitlement was verified here. Local permission and current promotion conditions are separate requirements; an advertisement or old campaign page settles neither.
