Tickmill’s current menu separates Classic and Raw on MetaTrader from TradingView Raw. Compare commission, platform, currency and regional eligibility together.

Start with the software you intend to use. Tickmill’s current global comparison has two MetaTrader account types, Classic and Raw, plus a separate TradingView Raw route for TradingView and Tickmill Trader. They share some headline conditions, but their commission and base-currency choices are not identical.

This guide compares that public menu. Your country, legal entity and client classification may produce different available choices. The main review explains why checking the agreement comes before choosing the most attractive column.

Source: Tickmill account overview. A starting deposit and minimum volume are not a complete risk plan. ZAR availability is regional; do not assume every applicant can choose every displayed currency. UK Classic, for example, lists a different currency selection and a 1:30 retail leverage ceiling.

The overview groups MT4 and MT5 under a 1:1000 headline. More specific documentation limits the highest leverage by platform, instrument and position size. See the leverage guide rather than applying that number to every account.

When Classic makes sense

Classic puts its ordinary dealing charge into the spread. That can make an account statement simpler to read because there is no separate commission line in the published tariff. It does not make trading free. You buy at the ask and sell at the bid, and the difference is a cost.

Tickmill notes that its MetaTrader charts align with raw prices even on Classic accounts. For order planning, inspect the actual bid and ask, not just the candle. This matters when a target or stop is close to the current market. The trading conditions FAQ also warns that spreads may widen around market transitions and announcements.

I would compare costs during the session I intend to trade. A person holding for days also needs overnight rates, while a frequent intraday trader may care more about spread and commission. Neither can choose well from a minimum-spread headline alone.

What the separate Raw commission changes

MetaTrader Raw quotes a lower spread floor and a separate $3 per lot per side commission. A one-lot FX round trip therefore has $6 commission before spread, slippage or holding charges. At 0.1 lot, proportional commission is $0.60 round trip. These are arithmetic examples from the tariff, not our trading results.

For a standard 100,000-unit EUR/USD contract in a USD account, a one-pip move of 0.0001 is worth $10 per lot. A $6 round-trip commission is equivalent to 0.6 pip on that specific example. Add the actual spread to compare with a spread-only account. The equivalence changes with instrument, contract size and currency conversion.

Our fees guide shows the calculation and common comparison errors. The cheaper-looking account can be the wrong choice if it does not support your required platform or account currency.

TradingView Raw is a separate connection

Official TradingView Raw account comparison captured 11 September 2026. This is the global account page, not the UK or EU retail offer. TradingView currently excludes EU and UK clients from the integration. Official source. View full size.

TradingView’s own support page says the integration requires Tickmill Trader Raw, supports demo and is currently unavailable to EU and UK clients. Check this regional restriction before choosing the platform.

The current table lists TradingView Raw at $3.50 per lot per side, or $7 round trip for a one-lot FX example. It uses a USD base account. Tickmill Trader credentials connect the eligible account to TradingView; an existing MetaTrader password does not establish that compatibility.

Read the TradingView connection guide and Tickmill Trader guide before opening an extra account. Confirm what instruments you need and where deposits sit. Moving money into a wallet is not the same as having the correct trading account funded.

What about Pro, VIP, Cent and Islamic accounts?

The current public menu centres on Classic and Raw. Older Pro and VIP names remain in some legal documents, including the UK FX key information document. That establishes historical or continuing contract references, not that a new applicant can open either account today. Do not choose from an old comparison image.

We did not establish a current Cent account in the published menu. A 0.01 lot minimum on an ordinary account does not make it a cent-denominated account. Read the contract-size and balance-currency fields rather than inferring the account type from a small order.

An Islamic account is a swap-free conversion of an eligible Classic or Raw account under the published terms. It is not a promise of zero holding costs: selected instruments can incur handling fees after a grace period. Approval and religious-eligibility conditions apply. A demo account uses virtual money and cannot prove live execution or withdrawal reliability.

How to make the choice

  1. Confirm your residence and legal entity. Save the account options actually offered to you.
  2. Select MT4, MT5 or the TradingView/Tickmill Trader route according to your software needs.
  3. Check the base currency against your funding currency and likely conversion costs.
  4. Compare spread plus round-trip commission on the same instrument, volume and trading session.
  5. Add overnight charges for your expected holding period. Ask for swap-free conditions if relevant.
  6. Set your risk amount and stop distance first, then see whether the minimum trade size fits. If it does not, use demo rather than forcing a larger risk.
  7. Check minimum funding and withdrawal rules before transferring money.

Compare the current Tickmill account menu

Opening several accounts is not a substitute for understanding the first one. Use a clear purpose for each account and record its platform, server, currency and pricing so you do not trade the wrong account by mistake.

Frequently asked questions

Which Tickmill account has no commission?

The published Classic tariff has no separate trading commission. Its spread and possible holding or other charges still affect total cost.

Is Raw cheaper than Classic?

It can be, but compare the actual spread plus round-trip commission on the same trade. Minimum spreads alone cannot establish which is cheaper for your session.

Can a MetaTrader account connect to TradingView?

The published TradingView connection uses the separate TradingView Raw/Tickmill Trader account route. Do not assume MT4 or MT5 credentials will work.

Can new clients open Pro or VIP?

The current menu does not advertise them as its main new-account choices. Legacy document references do not establish present availability.

Does Tickmill have a Cent account?

No current Cent offering was established from the official account menu checked. A 0.01 lot minimum is not proof of a cent account.
