Choose an FBS country guide by your actual residence. The directory separates provider eligibility, local rules and payment questions; inclusion does not confirm that an account can be opened.
Use residence rather than a preferred currency
A USD account, English page or local-language support channel does not decide whether the service is available where you live. Start with actual residence, then identify the company on the agreement and the relevant local rules. Those are separate checks.
The FBS global footer lists several restricted residences and says the list is not exhaustive. A country appearing in this directory means we have a guide addressing the local question. It is not an acceptance list, a local-licence claim or a payment-method guarantee.
Choose your country guide
Indonesia
Follow Indonesia’s 2025 regulator handover for money-market and foreign-exchange derivatives, then separate an IDR conversion from evidence of local broker permission.
Malaysia
Read the SC’s dated February 2021 FBS Malaysia alert, check the current register context, and keep MYR funding and swap-free claims separate from authorization.
Kenya
Check the CMA’s dealing and non-dealing forex-broker lists against the exact company. KES conversion examples and an M-Pesa mention do not confirm an available payment route.
Thailand
Read the Thai SEC’s FBS alert under its stated unlicensed digital-asset category alongside the separate Bank of Thailand forex warning. Neither is a signup shortcut.
Philippines
The SEC’s January 2026 advisory says the named FBS entities and individuals are not authorized to solicit investments from the public. Start with that warning and existing-account help.
South Africa
Match any FSCA number, legal company and permitted activity to the account agreement. Our guide does not establish an FSCA licence for the global FBS account; rand examples concern conversion only.
Nigeria
Separate Nigeria’s September 2026 proposed online-forex and CFD rules from rules already in force. The guide covers the proposal’s status and NGN record checks without claiming an FBS licence.
Pakistan
Read the State Bank of Pakistan’s offshore forex and CFD payment restrictions before considering any remittance. The guide focuses on the rule and existing-account records, not funding workarounds.
Vietnam
Distinguish permission to trade from the separate tax question addressed in a July 2026 government response. The guide explains the unresolved authorization issue and VND conversion records.
India
FBS’s current global disclosure excludes residents of India. Read the provider restriction with the RBI’s forex guidance and dated alert; the guide does not offer an INR or UPI workaround.
The country pages own local questions. The main FBS review owns the general broker assessment, and the global task guides below explain shared workflows without repeating a country review under a different title.

Three checks before considering an account
Check provider restrictions. Read the current footer and registration route for your real residence. If it is excluded or unavailable, do not select another country to continue.
Identify the contractual company. Match its legal name and domain with the agreement. A licence belonging to an EU company or a payment-service company does not automatically apply to an account with another FBS company.
Check local permission separately. Use the relevant regulator’s records and notices. Website access, marketing, account currency and the ability to make a payment are not substitutes for that check.
Where a country guide identifies a restriction or advisory, it is an information guide. It should not be read as a workaround for opening or funding an account. If the rule or provider response is unclear, obtain clarification before proceeding.

What if your country is not listed?
Use the same three checks. An absent country guide does not mean accepted or rejected; it means the directory does not yet provide a detailed local article. Do not infer availability from a neighbouring country or from a bank-transfer option shown in somebody else’s screenshot.
Keep a record of the provider entity, current restriction wording and any official reply relevant to your own circumstances. The support guide explains how to frame a precise question. A broad answer such as “we are international” does not settle the account or local-permission question.

If you are still deciding whether a broker suits you, our broker-selection guide gives a wider checklist. Keep that decision separate from how easy a sign-up form looks.
Questions traders ask
Are all countries in this directory accepted by FBS?
No. These are local information guides. Provider restrictions and local rules can make a guide useful even where opening or funding an account is inappropriate.
Does an FBS registration country option prove local authorization?
No. Provider onboarding and local authorization are separate matters. Check the exact company and the relevant official records.
Does a USD account mean a country is supported?
No. Account currency does not establish residence eligibility, local licensing or available payment methods.
Can I choose another country if mine is restricted?
No. Use accurate residence information and stop if the provider or applicable rules do not permit the service.
Choose your next step
Read the main review. Understand registration. Compare cost categories. Ask a precise eligibility question.
