A no-deposit forex bonus lets an eligible client receive a specified promotional benefit without making the deposit required by a deposit-bonus offer. It is not necessarily cash that can be withdrawn. Read the claiming, trading and withdrawal conditions separately before deciding whether the programme is useful.
The appeal is understandable: you want to learn what an account offers before committing your own money. But a real promotional account can involve live trading conditions and restrictions. If your task is simply to practise, start by comparing demo and live accounts.
What does “no deposit” actually mean?
It describes one qualifying condition. It does not mean everyone is eligible, registration guarantees approval, or profits can always be withdrawn immediately. A programme may distinguish new and existing clients, account types, countries and claim periods.
Keep three questions separate: can you open the account, can you receive the benefit, and can you request a particular withdrawal? Check the forex bonus comparison for the broader categories, or the deposit-bonus guide when an offer requires funding.

How to check a no-deposit claim, step by step
- Verify the company and official offer. Record the programme name, current date and controlling terms. Use the company named in the account agreement.
- Check who qualifies. Read the actual residence, age, new-client and account restrictions. Do not change identity or residence information to fit an offer.
- Separate the deadlines. Account opening, claiming, completing verification and fulfilling other conditions may have different periods. Write down what each deadline applies to.
- Follow the matched claim instructions. Complete only the official verification request and any stated opt-in. Do not reuse a button sequence from an unrelated or historical promotion.
- Check the account entry. Distinguish the benefit received from a withdrawable cash amount. Save the offer reference and confirmation.
- Read the profit-withdrawal rules before trading. Check how the programme counts volume, completed trades and eligible instruments, plus any exclusions or caps.

As a named example, a published XM Global no-deposit document separates a claim deadline from its trading-volume and completed-trade conditions. It is evidence of that document’s rules, not proof of a current offer for you. Our XM no-deposit terms explanation keeps the programme-specific details together.
Volume and trade count are not the same condition
Consider a fictional programme requiring both 0.20 standard lot of counted volume and four qualifying completed trades. Four counted trades of 0.05 lot each would total 0.20 lot and satisfy both numerical thresholds. Three counted trades of 0.10 lot each would total 0.30 lot but still miss the four-trade condition.
This is arithmetic only, not an actual offer or a recommendation to place those trades. The example assumes the programme counts each trade’s stated size once and that every trade qualifies. Real definitions and exclusions can differ. Do not add trades simply to chase a reward; use a defined risk plan.
What should you check before withdrawing?
Confirm the amount currently available, the permitted destination and the effect on remaining credit or open positions. Keep the request reference and status. Our broker withdrawal checklist distinguishes a request from money received.
If someone demands a new payment to release supposed profits, independently verify the company and terms before sending money. The CFTC’s fee-scam advisory explains this warning pattern. Do not assume that a screenshot of earnings proves funds exist or can be withdrawn.
No-deposit forex bonus FAQs
How many trades can I make with a no-deposit bonus?
There is no fixed answer. Position size, instrument specifications, margin, costs and market movement matter. An advertised credit amount does not establish that it is enough for two trades or any other fixed number.
Can I withdraw the bonus itself?
Read the specific terms. Promotional credit and earned cash can receive different treatment. Do not assume a universal cash withdrawal right from the phrase “no deposit.”
Does completing verification guarantee the bonus?
No. Verification can be one condition among several. Check the matched programme and actual account status before assuming the benefit has been granted.
Review scope: Educational guide checked on 8 September 2026. The numerical programme is fictional. No current offer or personal claim, trade or withdrawal was tested.
